Eligard 7.5Mg Inj is used in the treatment of prostate cancer, breast cancer, endometriosis, and premature puberty. The detailed uses of Eligard 7.5Mg Inj are as follows:

• Treats Prostate Cancer in Men: Eligard 7.5Mg Inj reduces testosterone levels in men, which helps slow down or stop the growth of cancer cells in the prostate gland.
• Treats Hormone-responsive Breast Cancer in Women: Eligard 7.5Mg Inj decreases oestrogen levels, which helps slow down or stop the growth of hormone receptor-positive breast cancer cells in premenopausal women.
• Manages Endometriosis in Women: By lowering oestrogen levels, Eligard 7.5Mg Inj helps shrink the endometrial tissues outside the uterus (womb).
• Delays Premature Puberty in Children: Eligard 7.5Mg Inj delays the onset of puberty in children by suppressing the early release of sex hormones such as testosterone and oestrogen.

Eligard 7.5Mg Inj contains Leuprorelin which works similarly to the natural hormone, gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), by acting on the pituitary gland and decreasing the levels of testosterone in men and oestrogen in women.
