Enphene 25 mg Tablet belongs to the group of medications called ‘ovulation stimulants’ used to treat infertility in women who are not ovulating (producing an egg) properly or have irregular or no menstrual cycle. The problem with ovulation is a common cause of infertility in women.
Enphene 25 mg Tablet is a combination of two drugs: Clomiphene (estrogen agonist) and Ubiquinone (nutritional supplements). Clomiphene works by stimulating the production of hormones that are responsible for the ovulation process. Ubiquinone is an antioxidant that protects the body from damage by chemicals (free radicals) that cause infertility. Together, Enphene 25 mg Tablet is used to induce ovulation (egg production) in a woman who has problems with ovulation and wishes to get pregnant.
Take Enphene 25 mg Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. The common side-effects of Enphene 25 mg Tablet are flushing (reddening of the skin, especially the face), vasomotor symptoms (night sweats and hot flushes), abdominal bloating or discomfort, nausea (feeling sick), vomiting (being sick), headache, vision problems, and breast pain. Most of these side effects of Enphene 25 mg Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are known to be allergic to Enphene 25 mg Tablet or its inactive components, please inform your doctor. Do not take Enphene 25 mg Tablet if you have liver disease, unexplained abnormal vaginal bleeding, an uncontrolled adrenal gland or thyroid disorder, or an ovarian cyst (unrelated to polycystic ovary syndrome). It is not recommended to use in pregnant women. So, it is advised to take a pregnancy test before using this medicine. It is also not recommended for use in children, adolescents, men, and post-menopausal women. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding as this medicine may affect the amount of breast milk produced. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and medicines to rule out any side effects.

Enphene 25 mg Tablet is a combination of two drugs, namely; Clomiphene (estrogen agonist) and Ubiquinone (nutritional supplements) used for fertility enhancement in women who are experiencing infertility due to problems with ovulation (production and release of an egg from the ovary). Clomiphene is a partial estrogen agonist which works by stimulating the hormones that are necessary for the ovulation process. Ubiquinone (coenzymeQ10 (CoQ10) ) is a naturally occurring quinone that is found in most aerobic organisms from bacteria to mammals. It is an antioxidant that protects the body from damage by chemicals (free radicals) that cause infertility. Collectively, Enphene 25 mg Tablet improves ovulation in women who cannot get pregnant because they are not ovulating and have a condition called polycystic ovary syndrome (a hormonal disorder in females causing enlarged ovaries with small cysts).

Clomiphene in Enphene 25 mg Tablet is a category X drug. It should not be given to pregnant women as Enphene 25 mg Tablet doesn't benefit this population and may also cause birth defects/congenital disabilities in the unborn baby.

Before taking Enphene 25 mg Tablet , inform your doctor if you are having an early menopause, diagnosed as infertile, stopped menstrual periods due to being underweight, have previously diagnosed with fits or seizures (fits), uterine fibroids (non-cancerous tumors in the womb), polycystic ovaries (presence of small cysts on the enlarged ovaries), swollen ovaries, or hypertriglyceridemia (increased fat levels in the body) or a family history of hypertriglyceridemia. Your doctor may also check for other causes of infertility before prescribing this medicine. Enphene 25 mg Tablet contains lactose and sucrose, so inform your doctor if you have any intolerance to sugars. Enphene 25 mg Tablet may cause problems with your eyesight. Cautions should be required before driving or operating heavy machinery. Do not start using a new medication without telling your doctor. Let your doctor know if you use any prescription and non-prescription medications you are taking, including other vitamins, before starting Enphene 25 mg Tablet .
Drug-Drug Interactions: Enphene 25 mg Tablet should not be used along with an anti-cancer agent (bexarotene), or blood thinners (warfarin, dicumarol, anisindione).
Drug-Food Interactions: Alcohol may increase the risk of side-effects of Enphene 25 mg Tablet .
Drug-Disease Interactions: Enphene 25 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with abnormal uterine bleeding, liver failure, hyperlipidemia (increased fat levels), uncontrolled adrenal gland dysfunction, thyroid problems and pituitary tumors.
