Amoebic dysentery can be caused due to entamoeba histolytica, giardia lamblia or clostridium difficile. Diarrhea is the increase in bowel movement leading to increased and loose motions.

Discontinue the ENTROFURAN M CAPSULE if any signs of low blood count observed. Immediately inform your doctor if you experience swelling of the face, tongue, throat, itchy rash or breathing difficulties while taking this ENTROFURAN M CAPSULE. ENTROFURAN M CAPSULE is safely given to children above one month year of age. It is advisable to you do not drive while using ENTROFURAN M CAPSULE as ENTROFURAN M CAPSULE may cause blurred vision or dizziness that may affect the ability to drive or use machines. Drug-Drug Interaction: This medicine may have an interaction with antiparkinson’s medicine (selegiline, rasagiline, apomorphine), a medicine used in cough (dextromethorphan), antiallergic (phenylephrine, pseudoephedrine), medicine for the fit disorder (phenobarbital), medicine for enlarged prostate gland (a gland between the bladder and penis) (alfuzosin), medicine for heart disease (amiodarone), antibiotic (clarithromycin), antacid (omeprazole).

Drug-Food Interaction: ENTROFURAN M CAPSULE interacts with foods with high tyramine. Avoid drinking alcohol as it may lead to an unpleasant reaction with symptoms like stomach pain, vomiting, nausea, flushing, headache or redness of the face.

Drug-Disease Interaction: ENTROFURAN M CAPSULE may interact in patients with liver disease and gastrointestinal disease.

• Do not drink or eat a lot of caffeine-containing products such as coffee, tea, energy drinks, cola or chocolate. ENTROFURAN M CAPSULE may increase nervousness, sleeplessness and anxiety caused by caffeine.
• Probiotics should be taken after taking the full course of ENTROFURAN M CAPSULE in order to restore some healthy bacteria in the intestines that may have been killed. Taking probiotics after antibiotic treatment can reduce the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhea. Certain fermented foods like yogurt, cheese, sauerkraut, kombucha and kimchi can help restore the intestine's good bacteria. 
• Include more fiber-enriched food in your diet, as it can be easily digested by your gut bacteria, which helps stimulate their growth. Thus, fiber-rich foods may help restore healthy gut bacteria after a course of antibiotics. Whole grains like whole-grain bread, brown rice should be included in your diet. Make sure you drink plenty of water or other fluids every day while you are taking ENTROFURAN M CAPSULE.
• Avoid intake of alcoholic beverages with ENTROFURAN M CAPSULE as it can make you dehydrated and may affect your sleep. This can make it harder for your body to aid the ENTROFURAN M CAPSULE in fighting off infections.

You should consult a doctor if you have symptoms associated with dehydration like dry mouth, excessive thirst, wrinkled skin, little or no urination, dizziness and lightheadedness.
