Erifol-H Tablet is an antipsychotic medication used in the treatment of schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is a mental disorder that can significantly impact a person's quality of life. It can cause psychotic symptoms, including hallucinations (such as hearing voices), trouble managing thoughts, and being suspicious of others.

Erifol-H Tablet is a combination medication. It contains Haloperidol and Trihexyphenidyl. Haloperidol is an antipsychotic that blocks dopamine receptors in the brain to reduce symptoms like hallucinations and delusions in schizophrenia. Trihexyphenidyl is an anticholinergic that helps prevent movement disorders caused by Haloperidol. Together, they effectively improve schizophrenia symptoms.

The dose and duration of Erifol-H Tablet will be determined by your doctor based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Erifol-H Tablet may cause common side effects such as sweating, headache, nausea, vomiting, urinary incontinence, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, nasal congestion, menstrual changes, change in libido, swelling of the breasts and milk production in both men and women, weight changes, blurred vision, upset stomach, constipation, and difficulty urinating. Most of these side effects of Erifol-H Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Do not take Erifol-H Tablet if you are allergic to Erifol-H Tablet or any of its ingredients. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, inform your doctor before taking Erifol-H Tablet. Erifol-H Tablet can cause drowsiness, so avoid activities requiring full alertness, such as driving or operating heavy machinery. Long-term use may lead to movement disorders like tardive dyskinesia, requiring dosage adjustments or discontinuation. It may also elevate prolactin levels, so patients with a history of breast cancer should consult their doctor before using Erifol-H Tablet. Regular blood tests may be needed to monitor for blood disorders. Inform your doctor if you have glaucoma or gastrointestinal obstructions, as Erifol-H Tablet may worsen these conditions.
