Evalon 1 mg Tablet is used for hormone replacement therapy in menopausal women. It helps relieve menopausal symptoms like vaginal dryness, itching, and irritation occurring due to a shortage of estrogen in the body.  

Evalon 1 mg Tablet contains ‘estriol’, which works by replacing the hormone, thereby helping relieve menopausal symptoms like vaginal dryness, itching, and irritation.

In some cases, you may experience certain side effects such as headache, nausea, flu-like symptoms, breast discomfort and pain. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention. However, talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Evalon 1 mg Tablet is intended for use in postmenopausal women only; let your doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid alcohol consumption while on treatment with Evalon 1 mg Tablet . Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it.

Evalon 1 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). The detailed uses of Evalon 1 mg Tablet are as follows:

• Treat symptoms of menopause: Evalon 1 mg Tablet helps alleviate hot flashes, night sweats, and vaginal dryness by supplementing declining estrogen levels in postmenopausal women.
• Manage vaginal atrophy and dryness: Evalon 1 mg Tablet restores moisture and elasticity to vaginal tissues, reducing discomfort, irritation, and pain during intimacy caused by hormonal changes.
• Support hormone therapy after ovarian surgery or menopause: Evalon 1 mg Tablet is used to maintain estrogen balance in women who have undergone oophorectomy or are experiencing natural menopause.
• Promote healing before and after vaginal surgery: Evalon 1 mg Tablet enhances tissue regeneration and wound healing in the vaginal area, improving recovery outcomes.

• Evalon 1 mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. Taking it with food may help reduce stomach discomfort.
• Take the medication once daily, or as prescribed by your doctor.
• Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not chew, crush, or break it.

• Evalon 1 mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called hormones indicated for hormone replacement therapy in menopausal women.

• Do not take Evalon 1 mg Tablet if you are allergic to it.
• Avoid taking Evalon 1 mg Tablet if you have breast/womb/ovary cancer, unexplained/unusual vaginal bleeding, womb problems (thickening of the womb lining), blood clot disorders, recent stroke, liver disease, or porphyria (an inherited disorder that causes nerve or skin problems).
• Inform your doctor if you have endometriosis (abnormal growth of tissues outside the womb), womb tumours, high blood pressure, diabetes, gall bladder disease, migraine, epilepsy/fits/seizures, asthma, systemic lupus erythematosus, otosclerosis (hearing disorder due to growth of bone in the inner ear), or heart/kidney/liver problems.
• Let your doctor know if you are taking any prescription/non-prescription medicines or herbal/vitamin supplements.
• Evalon 1 mg Tablet is not recommended for children.
• Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
