FML-T Eye Drops 5 ml belongs to ophthalmic eye medications primarily used to treat bacterial eye infections and reduce swelling, itching, and redness. FML-T Eye Drops 5 ml is a combination of two drugs, namely: Tobramycin (antibiotic) and Fluorometholone (corticosteroid). Tobramycin belongs to the class of antibiotics that works by inhibiting the production of essential proteins that are necessary for bacteria to grow, multiply and increase in numbers. Thereby, it destroys bacteria. Fluorometholone belongs to the class of steroids that works by inhibiting the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. Thereby, reduces the redness and swelling caused due to bacterial infections.

Use FML-T Eye Drops 5 ml as prescribed by your doctor. FML-T Eye Drops 5 ml is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use FML-T Eye Drops 5 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. Therefore, you are advised to remove contact lenses before applying FML-T Eye Drops 5 ml and reinsert after 15 minutes of using FML-T Eye Drops 5 ml. Also, inform your doctor if you experience pain, stinging or abnormal sensation in the eye after using FML-T Eye Drops 5 ml.
