About Gag PR Gel

Gag PR Gel is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, strain, stiff neck, dislocations, joint pain, lumbago (lower back pain), tendinitis (inflammation of the tendon), and tenosynovitis (inflammation of tendon on the thumb side of the wrist).

Gag PR Gel contains aceclofenac, which works by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that make another chemical, prostaglandin. By blocking the effect of COX enzymes, fewer prostaglandins are produced; this helps in reducing mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site.

Use Gag PR Gel for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, Gag PR Gel may cause side effects such as application site reactions like itching, irritation, redness, and a burning sensation. You are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not use Gag PR Gel if you are allergic to any of its components. Gag PR Gel is for external use only. Gag PR Gel works by blocking the effect of chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site. Thus, Gag PR Gel helps provide relief from pain.

Gag PR Gel is used to reduce and relieve pain and inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis. It is an auto-immune disease (the body's immune system attacks its tissue) which leads to joint pain and damage.

Avoid using Gag PR Gel with other topical products such as cosmetics, sunscreens, lotions, moisturisers, insect repellent creams, and other gels.

Do not apply external heat or cover the treated skin with dressings after applying Gag PR Gel. Covering the skin or applying heat might increase the amount of the drug absorbed into the skin, leading to unpleasant side effects.

Do not apply Gag PR Gel on wounds, skin injuries, irritated skin, skin abrasions, rashes, and infections. Apply Gag PR Gel on healthy skin only.
