About Goutnil Tablet
Goutnil Tablet is used to treat gout attacks and relieve their pain. Additionally, colchicine is also used to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, cardiovascular death, and needing certain types of heart procedures such as angioplasty or coronary artery bypass grafting in patients who have atherosclerosis.
Goutnil Tablet contains Colchicine, which works by stopping the natural processes that cause swelling and other symptoms of gout and familial Mediterranean fever. It helps lower the risk of heart problems and stroke by inhibiting white blood cells that cause inflammation.
In some cases, Goutnil Tablet may cause side effects like diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. Most of these side effects may not need medical attention and will gradually resolve over time. However, if any of the side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
Do not take Goutnil Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform the doctor if you have a blood disorder, liver/kidney/heart problems, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Keep the doctor informed about your health conditions and medications to prevent any interactions/side effects.
