FAQs

Hireto Plus Tablet belongs to the class of 'anti-cavity agents,' primarily used to prevent dental cavities.

Hireto Plus Tablet contains Sodium fluoride, which strengthens tooth enamel. It prevents cavity formation by making the enamel resistant to decay caused by acids and bacteria.

Bacteria, food, acid, and saliva combine in the mouth to form a sticky substance called plaque. The acid in plaque damages the teeth' enamel, leading to cavities. Cavities are caused by various factors, such as bacteria in the mouth, sugary drinks, frequent snacking, and not cleaning the teeth well.

Before using Hireto Plus Tablet, it is recommended that you inform your doctor if you are suffering from kidney problems, joint pains, stomach ulcers, or mouth problems, such as discolouration of the teeth, mouth sores, or mucositis.

Calcium, magnesium, and aluminium may interfere with sodium fluoride's absorption. Hence, it is better to maintain an hour gap between sodium fluoride formulations and dairy products (milk, yoghurt), antacids, laxatives, and vitamins/minerals.

Otosclerosis is a type of bone growth in the middle ear that can cause hearing loss. Sodium Fluoride has been used to help manage otosclerosis by reducing bone growth and activity, improving hearing stability, and slowing down hearing loss progression. However, it's essential to note that Hireto Plus Tablet may not cure otosclerosis, and its effectiveness may vary from person to person. Treatment should only be done under the guidance of a healthcare professional or an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist.

Hireto Plus Tablet is prescribed for individuals diagnosed with otosclerosis to help slow its progression. It may be recommended for those in the condition's early stages or as part of a broader treatment plan. Please consult a doctor before using Hireto Plus Tablet to determine if it suits you.

Hireto Plus Tablet may take at least six months to show effects in stabilizing hearing, improving vestibular symptoms, and slowing tinnitus progression in otosclerosis. However, its effectiveness varies among individuals, and continuous use is often needed. Please follow your doctor's guidance for the best results.

Hireto Plus Tablet may interact with various medications and supplements, including vitamins, antacids, and minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and aluminium. To ensure safe use and avoid potential adverse effects, consulting a doctor before taking Sodium Fluoride with other medications or supplements is highly recommended.

Hireto Plus Tablet cannot reverse hearing loss caused by otosclerosis. However, it may help to slow disease progression by strengthening bone structure and reducing further damage. Please consult your doctor for personalized advice and treatment.

The side effects of Hireto Plus Tablet may include allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching, hives, and swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat. Other possible side effects are tooth colour changes, nausea, vomiting, severe stomach pain, and unusual weakness or fatigue. Please consult a doctor if any of these side effects persist or worsen.
