Hyalgan 20 mg Injection 2 ml is used in the treatment of pain in osteoarthritis of the knee in patients who have failed to respond adequately to non-pharmacologic therapy, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), or simple analgesics (pain killers). It contains Hyaluronic acid, which works by reducing friction between the joints. Thereby providing relief from pain. In some cases, it may cause common side effects such as diarrhoea, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

Hyalgan 20 mg Injection 2 ml is indicated in the treatment of pain in osteoarthritis of the knee in patients who have failed to respond adequately to non-pharmacologic therapy, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), or simple analgesics (pain killers).

Hyalgan 20 mg Injection 2 ml contains 'Hyaluronic acid' that works by reducing friction between the joints. Thereby providing relief from pain.

In some cases, Hyalgan 20 mg Injection 2 ml may cause common side effects such as diarrhoea, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
