Isocaldin 300 mg Tablet is a combination of two drugs: isoniazid and pyridoxine (vitamin B6). Isoniazid works by killing the bacteria responsible for tuberculosis (TB). Additionally, pyridoxine helps treat nerve damage (neuritis) caused by TB medications like isoniazid.
Take Isocaldin 300 mg Tablet as prescribed. The dosage and duration of Isocaldin 300 mg Tablet may vary based on your specific condition and the severity of the infection. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, constipation, stomach upset/pain, dry mouth, ringing in the ears, and dizziness. Isocaldin 300 mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called anti-tuberculosis drugs. It contains two drugs, namely isoniazid and pyridoxine (vitamin B6). Do not take Isocaldin 300 mg Tablet if you are allergic to any of its contents. Avoid foods and drinks containing histamine or tyramine, such as cured meat, matured cheese, soy, tuna, salmon, mackerel, wine, and beer, while taking Isocaldin 300 mg Tablet , as they might cause interaction.
