Isocaldin 300 mg Tablet is used to treat tuberculosis. Tuberculosis is a serious infectious disease that mainly affects the lungs and can be passed on to others.

Isocaldin 300 mg Tablet is a combination of two drugs: isoniazid and pyridoxine (vitamin B6). Isoniazid works by killing the bacteria responsible for tuberculosis (TB). Additionally, pyridoxine helps treat nerve damage (neuritis) caused by TB medications like isoniazid.

Take Isocaldin 300 mg Tablet as prescribed. The dosage and duration of Isocaldin 300 mg Tablet may vary based on your specific condition and the severity of the infection. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, constipation, stomach upset/pain, dry mouth, ringing in the ears, and dizziness. Most of these side effects do not require any medical attention, as they will gradually reduce over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
