Itoset 150 Tablet is used in the treatment of disorders associated with reduced gastrointestinal motility. Besides this, Itoset 150 Tablet also treats gastrointestinal disorders like dyspepsia (indigestion), bloating (feeling of stomach tightness due to gas), upper abdominal pain, anorexia (eating disorder), heartburn, nausea and vomiting.

Itoset 150 Tablet contains 'Itopride,' which works by increasing the level of acetylcholine concentration, which in turn increases the gastrointestinal peristalsis movement, thereby accelerating gastric emptying time and easing the movement of food through the entire gastrointestinal tract.

In some cases, you may experience diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, dry mouth or drowsiness. Most of these side effects of Itoset 150 Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are known to be allergic to Itoset 150 Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Itoset 150 Tablet is not recommended for children below 16 years of age. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before taking Itoset 150 Tablet. If you have Parkinson's disease or internal bleeding of the stomach and intestine, please consult a doctor before taking Itoset 150 Tablet.

Itoset 150 Tablet is used for the treatment of Heartburn, Nausea, Vomiting, and Bloating. The detailed uses of Itoset 150 Tablet are as follows:

• Treatment of Functional Dyspepsia: Itoset 150 Tablet is frequently used to alleviate functional dyspepsia symptoms such as pain, bloating, and nausea.
• Management of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease: Itoset 150 Tablet aids in the treatment of GERD, such as heartburn and acid ingestion, by increasing stomach motility and decreasing the frequency of reflux events.
• Relief from Nausea and Vomiting: Itoset 150 Tablet significantly reduces nausea and vomiting caused by gastroenteritis and chemotherapy, thereby regulating digestive function.
• Postoperative Gastric Motility Disorders: Itoset 150 Tablet can also be used to treat patients who have delayed gastric emptying following surgery.
• Gastroparesis Management: Itoset 150 Tablet can be prescribed to treat gastroparesis by improving gastric motility in patients with weak stomach muscles.

• Take Itoset 150 Tablet on an empty stomach, preferably 1 hour before food or as advised by the doctor.
• It is advised to take Itoset 150 Tablet three times daily; however, follow your doctor’s recommendation regarding the dosage and duration.
• Swallow Itoset 150 Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break it.

• Itoset 150 Tablet is a gastroprokinetic (enhances the movement of food from the mouth through the stomach and intestines).
• It is used for treating gastrointestinal symptoms such as heartburn, vomiting, nausea, bloating, indigestion, and discomfort or pain in the stomach.
• Itoset 150 Tablet prevents heartburn by enhancing the movement of food through the stomach and intestines.
• Also, Itoset 150 Tablet acts on the chemoreceptor trigger zone (the area that triggers vomiting) in the brain and prevents vomiting.

• Avoid taking Itoset 150 Tablet if you are allergic to it or any other components present in it.
• Patients with reduced kidney or liver functions should be monitored carefully, and the dose should be adjusted accordingly.
• Itoset 150 Tablet may be excreted in breast milk. Therefore, breastfeeding or pregnant women are advised to consult a doctor before taking Itoset 150 Tablet.
• If you notice dark, coffee coloured stools or blood in stools, contact your doctor immediately, as these might be signs of bleeding in the stomach.
• Do not take Itoset 150 Tablet if you have increased gastrointestinal haemorrhage (internal bleeding of the intestine and stomach), gastrointestinal motility (movement of food from the mouth through the stomach and intestine), or mechanical perforation or obstruction, as it may worsen the condition.
