Jolclo 1 gm Injection is an antibiotic medicine used to treat bacterial infections. A bacterial infection occurs when harmful bacteria enter and grow in the body. This bacteria can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. Jolclo 1 gm Injection is effective in treating infections caused by bacteria only and does not treat viral infections like flu or a common cold.

Jolclo 1 gm Injection contains Cloxacillin, a penicillinase-resistant penicillin which works by inhibiting the formation of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering). This eventually leads to the death of the bacterial cell and thus prevents the growth of bacteria. Thereby, Jolclo 1 gm Injection helps treat bacterial infection.

Jolclo 1 gm Injection may cause certain side effects in some individuals, such as nausea, diarrhoea or soft stool, stomach upset, vomiting, headache, inflammation at the site of administration, and malaise (discomfort).
