Ledercort 0.1% Ointment is used in the treatment of various inflammatory skin conditions. This medicine is used to treat skin diseases, including dermatitis (skin inflammation), subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus, psoriasis, eczema, dermatoses (skin lesions), and other inflammatory conditions.

Ledercort 0.1% Ointment contains triamcinolone, which helps control inflammation and calm the immune response. It reduces the release of substances that cause swelling and irritation. This helps reduce redness, pain, and discomfort. Thus, it improves comfort in the affected area.

Ledercort 0.1% Ointment is for topical (skin) use only. Common side effects of Ledercort 0.1% Ointment include itching, dryness, irritation, redness and a burning sensation at the application site. These side effects are temporary and gradually resolve over time. If these side effects persist, please consult your doctor.

Ledercort 0.1% Ointment should be avoided if you are allergic to it. Please do not use it more often or for a longer time than your doctor prescribed.   • Control sub-acute cutaneous lupus erythematosus: Ledercort 0.1% Ointment helps reduce skin inflammation, rashes, and discomfort linked to lupus affecting the skin.
