Lincin 250mg Capsule belongs to a class of drugs called antibiotics used in the treatment of bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, biliary tract, bone and joint, skin and soft tissue, furuncles (boils), secondary wound infections, gynecological infections and sepsis (blood poisoning). Bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly.

Lincin 250mg Capsule contains Lincomycin which works by inhibiting the production of essential proteins that are necessary for bacteria to grow, multiply and increase in numbers. Thus, Lincin 250mg Capsule destroys bacteria.

Take Lincin 250mg Capsule as prescribed. Your doctor will advise you on how often you take Lincin 250mg Capsule based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, dizziness, or ringing in the ear. The detailed uses of Lincin 250mg Capsule are as follows:<br/>• Bacterial Infections: Lincin 250mg Capsule is used to treat severe bacterial infections caused by susceptible strains of gram-positive bacteria.<br/>• Respiratory Tract Infections: Lincin 250mg Capsule is used to treat respiratory tract infections like bronchitis, pneumonia and lung abscesses.<br/>• Skin and Soft Tissue Infections: It is effective against skin infections like boils and infected wounds.<br/>• Ear, Nose and Throat Infections: Lincin 250mg Capsule is also used for ENT infections, including tonsillitis, sinusitis and otitis media (middle ear infection).<br/>• Alternative for Penicillin Allergic Patients: Lincin 250mg Capsule is used as an alternative for patients allergic to penicillin.<br/>

Directions for Use

  • Lincin 250mg Capsule can be taken 1 or 2 hours before or after a meal or as advised by your doctor.
