Type-2 diabetes mellitus is also known as non-insulin-dependent diabetes or adult-onset diabetes. It is a medical condition in which the body doesn't make enough insulin, or the insulin is not effectively used by the body.
Lobg-G1 Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic drugs namely Lobeglitazone sulfate and Glimepiride. Lobeglitazone sulfate works as an insulin sensitizer and increases cellular responsiveness to insulin. Thus, it improves the way your body uses insulin produced. Glimepiride increases the quantity of insulin produced by the pancreas and facilitates the body's efficient use of it. Together, Lobg-G1 Tablet helps control blood sugar levels.
Take Lobg-G1 Tablet as advised by the doctor. You are recommended to take Lobg-G1 Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as hypoglycaemia (low blood glucose level), headache, abnormal vision, nausea, vomiting, respiratory infection, weight gain, numbness and dizziness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to consult your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
