About LYNX Oral Suspension

LYNX Oral Suspension belongs to a class of drugs called antibiotics used in the treatment of bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, biliary tract, bone and joint, skin and soft tissue, furuncles (boils), secondary wound infections, gynecological infections and sepsis (blood poisoning). Bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly.

LYNX Oral Suspension contains Lincomycin which works by inhibiting the production of essential proteins that are necessary for bacteria to grow, multiply and increase in numbers. Thus, LYNX Oral Suspension destroys bacteria.

Take LYNX Oral Suspension as prescribed. Your doctor will advise you on how often you take LYNX Oral Suspension based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, dizziness, or ringing in the ear. Most of these side effects of LYNX Oral Suspension do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

The detailed uses of LYNX Oral Suspension are as follows:<br/>• Bacterial Infections: LYNX Oral Suspension is used to treat severe bacterial infections caused by susceptible strains of gram-positive bacteria.<br/>• Respiratory Tract Infections: LYNX Oral Suspension is used to treat respiratory tract infections like bronchitis, pneumonia and lung abscesses.<br/>• Skin and Soft Tissue Infections: It is effective against skin infections like boils and infected wounds.<br/>• Ear, Nose and Throat Infections: LYNX Oral Suspension is also used for ENT infections, including tonsillitis, sinusitis and otitis media (middle ear infection).<br/>• Alternative for Penicillin Allergic Patients: LYNX Oral Suspension is used as an alternative for patients allergic to penicillin.<br/>

  • LYNX Oral Suspension can be taken 1 or 2 hours before or after a meal or as advised by your doctor.
