About Memjet 0.2mg Tablet

Memjet 0.2mg Tablet is used to prevent and control postpartum haemorrhage. It is used after delivery for the routine management of uterine atony, subinvolution of the uterus, and haemorrhage.

Memjet 0.2mg Tablet contains Methylergometrine, which works by increasing the smooth muscle contractions of the uterus. This helps compress the blood vessels and controls bleeding after delivery.

Take Memjet 0.2mg Tablet exactly as prescribed by the doctor. In some cases, Memjet 0.2mg Tablet may cause high blood pressure associated with seizures and/or headache, nausea, and vomiting. If the side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor.

Do not take Memjet 0.2mg Tablet if you are pregnant. Consult your doctor if you are breastfeeding. Memjet 0.2mg Tablet is not recommended for children as safety and effectiveness have not been established.   • Control postpartum hemorrhage: Memjet 0.2mg Tablet is primarily used to prevent and manage excessive bleeding following childbirth by stimulating strong and sustained uterine contractions.
  • Assist in uterine involution after delivery: Memjet 0.2mg Tablet helps the uterus return to its normal size and tone after delivery, reducing the risk of complications related to uterine atony.

  • Memjet 0.2mg Tablet can be taken with or without food.

What if I have taken an overdose of Memjet 0.2mg Tablet

Avoid taking more than the prescribed dose of Memjet 0.2mg Tablet as it can cause serious side effects. Overdose of Memjet 0.2mg Tablet include severe headache, severe dizziness, seizures, slow/shallow breathing. Seek immediate medical attention if you observe any of these side effects.

Drug Warnings

Do not take Memjet 0.2mg Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components, if you have high blood pressure, toxaemia (a complication of pregnancy characterised by high blood pressure), or if you are pregnant.
