About Misobit 50 Tablet 10's

Misobit 50 Tablet 10's belongs to a class of anti-diabetic medications used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes, especially in patients whose blood sugar levels are not controlled by diet and exercise alone. Misobit 50 Tablet 10's may be used alone or in combination with other medicines. Type 2 diabetes is a chronic (long-lasting) condition that affects the way our body processes glucose. People with type 2 diabetes either do not produce enough insulin or the insulin produced cannot perform its function in the body (insulin resistance). Insulin is a hormone that helps glucose get into your cells to give them energy. Without insulin, too much glucose stays in your blood. Middle-aged or older individuals are most likely to suffer from type 2 diabetes, which is also known as adult-onset diabetes.

Misobit 50 Tablet 10's contains Miglitol that works by inhibiting intestinal enzymes that breaks complex sugars into simple sugars like glucose. Thus, Misobit 50 Tablet 10's helps in preventing a very high rise in blood sugar levels immediately after meals.

Take Misobit 50 Tablet 10's as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Misobit 50 Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience stomach pain, diarrhoea and gas. Most of these side effects of Misobit 50 Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. Avoid breastfeeding while taking Misobit 50 Tablet 10's as it may be excreted in human milk. If you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy, please inform your doctor before taking Misobit 50 Tablet 10's. Avoid alcohol consumption with Misobit 50 Tablet 10's as it may decrease blood sugar levels. Drive only if you are alert after taking Misobit 50 Tablet 10's as it may cause low blood sugar levels in some patients. Take short, frequent meals and avoid prolonged fasting when taking Misobit 50 Tablet 10's.
