Mkcef LB 200mg Tablet DT is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. The detailed uses of Mkcef LB 200mg Tablet DT are as follows: 

• Bacterial Infections: Mkcef LB 200mg Tablet DT is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that helps in treating a variety of bacterial infections such as urinary tract, ears, nose, throat, chest, lungs, etc., by inhibiting the growth of bacteria.
• Restores Gut Flora: Mkcef LB 200mg Tablet DT is a probiotic that helps in restoring the natural balance of good bacteria in the gut, which may be disturbed due to antibiotic use.
• Supports Digestive Health: Mkcef LB 200mg Tablet DT not only fights infection but also supports digestive health during and after antibiotic treatment.

Mkcef LB 200mg Tablet DT is a combination of two drugs, namely: Cefixime and Lactobacillus used in the treatment of several bacterial infections. Cefixime is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that acts against both aerobic (grow in the presence of oxygen) and anaerobic (grow in the absence of oxygen) gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. It interferes with the formation of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) that is necessary for their survival. Thereby, it damages the bacterial cell wall and kills the bacteria. Lactobacillus is a probiotic (live microorganisms that keep the body healthy) that helps to restore good bacteria in the intestines. • Tablet: Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break it.
• Syrup: Shake the bottle well before use. Take the prescribed dose by mouth using the measuring cup/dosing syringe/dropper provided by the pack.

• Take probiotics after completing the entire course of Mkcef LB 200mg Tablet DT to restore some healthy bacteria in the intestines that may have been killed. Taking probiotics after antibiotic treatment can reduce the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhoea.
• Certain fermented foods like cheese, yoghurt, kombucha, sauerkraut, and kimchi can help to restore the good bacteria of the intestine.
