Mofestat-S Tablet 10's belongs to a class of drugs called immunosuppressants. These drugs are used to prevent rejection of a transplanted organ such as a liver, kidney, or heart. Organ rejection occurs when a patient’s immune system recognizes the donor organ as foreign and tries to eliminate it.

Mofestat-S Tablet 10's contains Mycophenolic Acid, which decreases the production of white blood cells that usually attack foreign invaders and defend the body against foreign cells and infection. As a result, it prevents organ rejection in transplanted patients and helps the body accept the new organ.

Common side effects of Mofestat-S Tablet 10's may include stomach pain, vomiting, diarrhoea, high blood pressure, or swelling of the lower legs, feet, and ankles. Mofestat-S Tablet 10's is used to prevent transplanted organ rejection. The detailed uses of Mofestat-S Tablet 10's are as follows:

• Prevent organ rejection: Mofestat-S Tablet 10's is primarily used to prevent organ rejection after a kidney transplant.

• Mofestat-S Tablet 10's is usually taken on an empty stomach, either 1 hour before or 2 hours after eating or drinking.
• Mofestat-S Tablet 10's is usually taken twice a day, or as prescribed by your doctor.
• Measure the prescribed dose using a measuring cup and administer it orally.
• Shake the bottle well before each use. Avoid using regular household spoons, as they may not measure the dose correctly.

• Prevents organ rejection in patients who have undergone kidney, heart, or liver transplantation.
