Momnase Nasal Spray 10 ml

Momnase Nasal Spray is used to treat seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis symptoms. Seasonal allergic rhinitis, commonly called hay fever, mostly occurs in the summer, spring, or early fall. Perennial allergic rhinitis affects people throughout the year and can be triggered by mould, cockroach or dust mite droppings, pet dander, and saliva.

Momnase Nasal Spray contains mometasone, which gets absorbed into the cells of the nasal lining and works by inhibiting these cells from releasing chemicals that trigger inflammatory and allergic reactions.

Sometimes, Momnase Nasal Spray may cause common side effects such as headache, nose bleeds, sore throat or nose, sneezing, or ulcers in the nose, which gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Please tell your doctor if you are allergic to mometasone or other medicines. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advised to inform your doctor before using Momnase Nasal Spray. Momnase Nasal Spray is recommended for children aged three years and above to treat seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and is used to treat nasal polyps in children aged 18 years and above.

Momnase Nasal Spray is used in the treatment of Keratosis/multiple actinic or solar keratosis, some simple skin cancers, keratoacanthoma, Bowen’s disease, and superficial basal cell carcinoma. The detailed uses of Momnase Nasal Spray are as follows:

• Treat actinic keratosis (solar keratosis): Momnase Nasal Spray targets abnormal skin cells caused by prolonged sun exposure, promoting their destruction and renewal. It helps prevent progression to squamous cell carcinoma by clearing precancerous lesions.
• Manage superficial basal cell carcinoma: Momnase Nasal Spray interferes with DNA synthesis in cancerous cells within the outer skin layer, making it effective for low-risk basal cell cancers when surgical options aren’t feasible.
• Treat Bowen’s disease (squamous cell carcinoma in situ): Momnase Nasal Spray is applied topically to eliminate early-stage cancerous cells confined to the epidermis, offering a non-invasive treatment alternative.

• Follow your doctor’s instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safety.
• Insert the tip into a nostril while closing the other nostril and spray towards the sides of the nostril. Keep your head straight and breathe gently. Repeat the same process for the other nostril.
• Wipe the nozzle with a clean tissue and replace the cap after each use.

• Momnase Nasal Spray contains Mometasone, a steroid used to treat seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis symptoms.
