MOOSTIN 40MG TABLET is an anti-cancer medicine used in the treatment of brain tumors. A tumor is defined as the formation of solid mass tissue due to the abnormal growth of cells. MOOSTIN 40MG TABLET is used in the treatment of primary and metastatic brain tumors along with appropriate surgical or radiotherapeutic procedures. A brain tumor is a serious condition where the cells (cancerous or non-cancerous) grow abnormally in the brain. MOOSTIN 40MG TABLET is also used in the treatment of Hodgkin’s Disease when used in combination with other chemotherapies.

MOOSTIN 40MG TABLET contains Lomustine, which belongs to the alkylating agents class. It works by inhibiting the DNA and RNA transcription that is essential for protein synthesis. The detailed uses of MOOSTIN 40MG TABLET are as follows:<br/>• Brain Tumors: MOOSTIN 40MG TABLET is used to treat brain tumors including gliomas and astrocytomas, especially when other treatments like surgery or radiation have already been used.<br/>• Hodgkin’s Lymphoma: MOOSTIN 40MG TABLET is used to treat hodgkin’s lymphoma typically in patients who have relapsed or are resistant to other therapies.<br/>• Other Cancers: MOOSTIN 40MG TABLET is used to treat cancers such as lung cancer, malignant melanoma, multiple myeloma, ovarian cancer, and non-Hodgkin lymphoma.<br/>

Directions for Use

• MOOSTIN 40MG TABLET can be taken 1 hour before a meal or 2 hours after a meal, or as advised by your doctor.• It is taken as a single dose every 6 weeks; however, follow your doctor's advice regarding the dosage and duration.• Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water.• Do not break, chew or crush MOOSTIN 40MG TABLET.
