About Moxigen Eye Drop
Moxigen Eye Drop belongs to the class of 'antibiotics', primarily used to treat bacterial eye infections, such as bacterial conjunctivitis. A bacterial eye infection occurs when bacteria invade any part of the eyeball or its surrounding tissues, including the cornea (clear front surface of the eye) and the conjunctiva (thin membrane lining the outer eye and inner eyelids).
Moxigen Eye Drop contains Moxifloxacin, a bactericidal agent that kills bacteria, causing a wide range of infections. It works by stopping bacteria's ability to copy their genetic material (DNA), which stops them from reproducing and ultimately kills them.
Use Moxigen Eye Drop as directed by your doctor, in the dose and duration advised. In some cases, you may experience common side effects, such as dry eyes, watery eyes, eye pain or discomfort, blurred vision, redness, itching, and eye irritation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and usually resolve on their own over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.
Inform your doctor if you have any eye or corneal problems or allergic reactions before starting Moxigen Eye Drop. Let your doctor know if you are planning to get pregnant, are pregnant or breastfeeding. Moxigen Eye Drop may cause blurred vision, affecting your ability to drive; hence, drive only when your vision is clear. Avoid alcohol consumption to avail the maximum benefits of Moxigen Eye Drop.

Medicinal Benefits
Moxigen Eye Drop is used to treat and prevent bacterial infections of the eye. It contains Moxifloxacin, a broad-spectrum quinolone antibiotic that works by killing bacteria. Moxifloxacin targets and inhibits an essential bacterial enzyme called DNA gyrase, which is required for DNA replication, transcription, and repair. By blocking this enzyme, Moxigen Eye Drop stops the bacteria from multiplying and leads to their death, effectively clearing the infection.

Moxigen Eye Drop is used to treat bacterial eye infections, such as bacterial conjunctivitis.
Moxigen Eye Drop works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase, an enzyme required for the replication, transcription, and repair of DNA. This enzyme leads to bacterial cell death. Thus, Moxigen Eye Drop helps relieve and treat symptoms of bacterial eye infections.
It is recommended to complete the course even if you feel better, as it is an antibiotic, and stopping it midway may lead to a recurrence of the infection. Continue using Moxigen Eye Drop for as long as your doctor has prescribed to treat your condition effectually.
