My-Letro Tablet 5's

My-Letro Tablet 5's is used to treat breast cancer in women who have gone through menopause (cessation of menses periods). Breast cancer is a type of cancer that develops in breast cells stimulated by the female sex hormone known as estrogen.

My-Letro Tablet 5's contains 'Letrozole' that works by blocking the aromatase enzyme, which is involved in the production of the estrogen hormone. 

In some cases, My-Letro Tablet 5's may cause common side effects such as hypercholesterolemia (increased cholesterol levels), tiredness, weakness, increased sweating, feeling unwell, pain in joints, and hot flushes (feeling of warmth). Do not be reluctant to talk with your doctor if you experience any of these side-effects persistently.

You are advised to take My-Letro Tablet 5's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. It can be taken with or without food with a glass of water. Do not chew, bite or crush the medicine.

• Breast Cancer Treatment: My-Letro Tablet 5's is primarily prescribed for postmenopausal women with hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer. It works by lowering estrogen levels, which helps slow or halt the growth of certain breast tumours.
• Adjuvant Therapy: After surgery for early-stage breast cancer, My-Letro Tablet 5's may be used as adjuvant therapy to reduce the risk of recurrence and improve survival rates.
• Neoadjuvant Therapy: My-Letro Tablet 5's can serve as a neoadjuvant treatment to shrink breast tumours before surgery, facilitating their removal.
• Ovarian Function Suppression: My-Letro Tablet 5's is occasionally used off-label during fertility treatments to suppress ovarian function, particularly in cases of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

• Take My-Letro Tablet 5's with or without food as advised by your doctor.
• It is advised to take My-Letro Tablet 5's once daily; however, follow your doctor’s recommendation regarding the dosage and duration.
