Mytrex 100 Inj belongs to the group of medicines called folate analogue metabolic inhibitors used alone or in combination with other anti-cancer medicines to treat non-small cell lung cancer and malignant pleural mesothelioma (cancer affecting the lining of the lung).

Mytrex 100 Inj contains Pemetrexed, which works by blocking the action of substances that may help the cancer cells multiply.

In some cases, Mytrex 100 Inj may cause side effects such as diarrhoea, tiredness, nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite. The detailed uses of Mytrex 100 Inj are as follows:<br/>• Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC): Mytrex 100 Inj is used alone or in combination with other agents for advanced or metastatic NSCLC, especially in patients who are not candidates for surgery.<br/>• Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma: Mytrex 100 Inj is often combined with cisplatin to treat this aggressive cancer affecting the lining of the lungs.<br/>
