NOVOSEVEN 2MG INJECTION is used to treat bleeding disorders and to prevent bleeding after surgery or other important treatments. NOVOSEVEN 2MG INJECTION may also be given to treat heavy bleeding after delivery of the baby, even if the mother does not have a bleeding disorder.

NOVOSEVEN 2MG INJECTION contains Eptacog alfa, a blood coagulation factor that works by making the blood clot at the site of bleeding when the body’s own clotting factors are not working.

In some cases, NOVOSEVEN 2MG INJECTION may cause side effects like clots in the veins in the legs, lungs, kidney, liver or at the site of injection, fever, pruritus (itching), or urticaria (hives). Please consult your doctor if your side effects worsen.

Let your doctor know if you are allergic to any of the components in NOVOSEVEN 2MG INJECTION. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and medications to rule out any side effects/interactions.

NOVOSEVEN 2MG INJECTION is used in the treatment of Bleeding disorders. The detailed uses of NOVOSEVEN 2MG INJECTION are as follows:

• Hemophilia A and B with Inhibitors: NOVOSEVEN 2MG INJECTION is used to control bleeding episodes in patients with haemophilia A or B who have developed inhibitors against standard clotting factors. It bypasses the need for factors VIII or IX by directly activating the clotting cascade to promote haemostasis.
• Congenital Factor VII Deficiency: NOVOSEVEN 2MG INJECTION is used for individuals born with a deficiency of clotting factor VII. It replaces the missing factor and helps form stable clots at bleeding sites, reducing the risk of prolonged or spontaneous bleeding.
• Acquired Haemophilia and Surgical Bleeding: NOVOSEVEN 2MG INJECTION is used to manage bleeding in patients with acquired haemophilia or during surgeries where normal clotting is impaired. It supports rapid clot formation and minimizes blood loss, even in complex or high-risk procedures.

• Follow your doctor’s instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safe and effective use.
• NOVOSEVEN 2MG INJECTION will be administered by a healthcare professional. In some cases, it may be given to use at home. Follow your doctor’s instructions if you use this injection at home.
• Do not use if the solution is cloudy, contains particles, or if the vial is damaged.

NOVOSEVEN 2MG INJECTION is used to treat bleeding and to prevent bleeding after surgery or other important treatments. Early treatment with NOVOSEVEN 2MG INJECTION reduces the amount and duration of bleeding. NOVOSEVEN 2MG INJECTION works in all types of bleeds, including joint bleeds.

If you are allergic to NOVOSEVEN 2MG INJECTION, hamster, mouse, or cow proteins, inform your doctor before taking this injection. Inform your doctor if you have had surgery, crush injury, atherosclerosis (narrowed arteries), thrombosis (blood clots), liver disease, blood infection, disseminated intravascular coagulation (blood clots develop throughout the bloodstream), coronary artery disease, stroke, intolerance to fructose, or if you are using other blood clotting factors. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
