Olpress M 25 Tablet ER is a combination of blood pressure-lowering medicines, primarily used to treat high blood pressure. Hypertension or high blood pressure is a chronic condition in which the force exerted by the blood against the artery wall is high. As a result, it leads to heart disease, irregular heartbeat, and other complications.

Olpress M 25 Tablet ER is a combination of Olmesartan Medoxomil and Metoprolol.  Olmesartan Medoxomil works by blocking the hormone angiotensin, thereby relaxing blood vessels. Metoprolol helps relax our blood vessels by blocking the action of certain natural substances in your body.

In some cases, you may experience headache, nausea, dizziness, diarrhoea, Indigestion and low blood pressure. Most of these side effects of Olpress M 25 Tablet ER do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Try not to stop taking this medicine on your own. Let your doctor know about this, as it may cause a rise in blood pressure and increase the risk of heart disease and stroke. Inform your doctor if you suffer from kidney, liver, heart disease, or diabetes. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please tell your doctor. Olpress M 25 Tablet ER should not be given to children under 12 years of age.

• Treats Hypertension: Olpress M 25 Tablet ER helps lower elevated blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels and slowing the heart rate.
• Prevents Future Cardiovascular Complications: By effectively managing blood pressure and reducing heart workload, Olpress M 25 Tablet ER helps prevent complications such as stroke, heart attack, kidney problems, or other heart problems.

• Olpress M 25 Tablet ER can be taken with or without food or as directed by your doctor.
• It is preferable to take Olpress M 25 Tablet ER at the same time every day for better results. Follow your doctor’s recommendations on the dosage and timing of this medication to achieve optimal results.
• Swallow Olpress M 25 Tablet ER as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break it.

• Olpress M 25 Tablet ER is a combination of two medicines, Olmesartan Medoxomil and Metoprolol, which together help in lowering raised blood pressure effectively.

• Don't stop taking Olpress M 25 Tablet ER without talking to your doctor first.
• Stopping Olpress M 25 Tablet ER gradually may cause changes in your heart rhythm and blood pressure, causing chest pain or a heart attack. Your doctor will gradually lower your dose to help prevent these symptoms.
• You should not use Olpress M 25 Tablet ER if you have a very slow heartbeat, asthma, a serious heart condition (sick sinus syndrome), or any heart blockage.
• It should not be given to children less than 12 years of age.
• Before taking Olpress M 25 Tablet ER, you should tell the doctor if you have any muscle disorders, breathing problems, low blood sugar level, low blood pressure, depression, previous heart failure, liver/kidney disease, thyroid hormone disorder, adrenal gland cancer, or problems with circulation (Raynaud's syndrome).
• Prolonged use of Olpress M 25 Tablet ER may cause increased potassium levels, so regular serum potassium and electrolyte monitoring is required.
