Orpa 27.5 mcg Nasal Spray is used to treat allergic rhinitis symptoms (inflammation of the nose's inner mucous membrane), such as sneezing, runny nose, and sinus discomfort in adults and children above six years.

Orpa 27.5 mcg Nasal Spray works by blocking certain chemical messengers present in the brain, causing pain, inflammation (swelling), and allergies. As a result, the Orpa 27.5 mcg Nasal Spray provides relief from the discomfort and irritation in the nose caused due to allergies.

The most common side effects are nasal ulceration, headache, shortness of breath, soreness, or dryness inside the nose. If these effects appear and are bothersome, call your doctor.

Do not use Orpa 27.5 mcg Nasal Spray if you are allergic to any of its components. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medicine. Do not use Orpa 27.5 mcg Nasal Spray in children below six years old.

• Reduce nasal inflammation and congestion: Orpa 27.5 mcg Nasal Spray works as a glucocorticoid steroid, blocking chemical messengers that trigger inflammation and allergic reactions, thereby easing nasal discomfort and improving airflow.
• Support long-term allergy management: Orpa 27.5 mcg Nasal Spray is effective when used regularly, helping prevent recurrence of symptoms and improving quality of life for individuals with chronic nasal allergies.

• Follow your doctor’s recommendations on the dosage and timing of this medication to achieve optimal results.
• Insert the tip of the bottle into a nostril while closing the other nostril and spray towards the sides of the nostril. Keep your head straight and breathe gently. Repeat the same process for another nostril if needed.

• Also, tell your doctor if you have (TB, a type of lung infection), chickenpox, measles, or tuberculosis.
• Orpa 27.5 mcg Nasal Spray makes you more prone to infections. As a precautionary measure, please stay away from people who have an infection.
• Before using Orpa 27.5 mcg Nasal Spray, inform your doctor if you have ever had diabetes or a weak immune system.
• Speak to your doctor immediately if you notice serious side effects such as facial pain, painful swallowing, eye pain, white patches in the nose/back of your throat, or a persistent sore throat.
• Do not use Orpa 27.5 mcg Nasal Spray at the same time as other nasal sprays containing steroid medication.
