About MX-5 Solution

MX-5 Solution is used to treat alopecia (hair loss). MX-5 Solution stimulates hair growth and slows down the process of balding. Alopecia is the thinning or loss of hair on the scalp or any part of the body.

MX-5 Solution contains Minoxidil, which widens the blood vessels and helps provide oxygen, blood, and nutrients to the hair follicles, thereby preventing hair cell death and promoting new hair growth.

Some common side effects of MX-5 Solution include changes in the color/texture of the hair, excessive hair growth, headache, itching, skin irritation, dryness, shortness of breath, scaling of the skin, and redness. Clean and dry the scalp before application. Apply the prescribed amount of MX-5 Solution directly to the scalp and massage gently to help absorption.
Do not apply to areas of the body other than the normal healthy scalp. It should not be used on inflamed, infected, irritated, or painful scalp skin.
Wash your hands before and after using MX-5 Solution.
Do not shampoo your hair for 4 hours after applying MX-5 Solution.
