Otolin-DX Ear Drops 5 ml is a combination medicine used to treat bacterial infections of the ear. An ear infection occurs when the bacteria affect the middle or outer ear, leading to pain and inflammation. Otolin-DX Ear Drops 5 ml does not work for fungal ear infections.

Otolin-DX Ear Drops 5 ml contains Ofloxacin and Dexamethasone. Ofloxacin kills the bacteria by preventing them from repairing and dividing. Dexamethasone blocks the chemical messengers that cause swelling, itching, and redness. Together, Otolin-DX Ear Drops 5 ml helps in treating bacterial ear infections.

The detailed uses of Otolin-DX Ear Drops 5 ml are as follows:<br/>• Treat bacterial ear infections: Otolin-DX Ear Drops 5 ml helps to treat bacterial ear infections particularly otitis externa (outer ear infection) and otitis media (middle ear infection with ear tubes).<br/>• Relieve symptoms: Otolin-DX Ear Drops 5 ml helps to relieve symptoms like pain, itching, and swelling.<br/>

Directions for Use

• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication. Typically, it is taken 1-2 times daily.• Otolin-DX Ear Drops 5 ml is intended for use in the ears only. • Lie down and tilt your head to the side with the affected ear facing upwards. Hold the dropper over the ear and instill the prescribed number of drops into the ear. Keep your head tilted for a minute to allow the drops to soak in.• Do not touch the dropper tip to the ears or the surrounding areas to prevent contamination.
