Paroin 25mg Tablet is used to treat major depressive disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, premenstrual dysphoria disorder and generalised anxiety disorder. Depression is a mood disorder characterised by sadness, unhappiness, anger, hopelessness or loss that interferes with a person’s daily activities.

Paroin 25mg Tablet contains ‘Paroxetine,’ which works by inhibiting serotonin's reuptake, a mood-enhancing chemical messenger in the brain that communicates between brain cells.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as insomnia (difficulty sleeping), dizziness, headache, diarrhoea, nausea, fatigue, dry mouth, loss of appetite, and sexual disturbances. You are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Take Paroin 25mg Tablet as prescribed. You are advised to take Paroin 25mg Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition and response to the treatment. Paroin 25mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. However, taking it with food may help reduce stomach upset. Do not crush, break, or chew it.

• Manage anxiety-related conditions: Paroin 25mg Tablet is effective in treating generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), social anxiety disorder (SAD), panic disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), reducing symptoms like excessive worry, fear, and panic attacks.
• Control obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD): Paroin 25mg Tablet helps reduce intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviours by regulating serotonin activity.

• Paroin 25mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. However, taking it with food may help reduce stomach upset.
• It is usually taken once daily in the morning. However, your doctor may adjust the dosage of Paroin 25mg Tablet based on your medical condition.
• Swallow Paroin 25mg Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
