Bacterial infections are caused due to the multiplication of harmful bacteria inside or on the body. Pfipod 100 DT Tablet 10's does not work against infections caused by the virus, including cold and flu.
Pfipod 100 DT Tablet 10's contains 'Cefpodoxime', which is a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Pfipod 100 DT Tablet 10's works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering (cell wall), which is necessary for their survival. Thereby, Pfipod 100 DT Tablet 10's kills the bacteria and helps in treating and preventing the spread of bacterial infections.
In some cases, Pfipod 100 DT Tablet 10's may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea (watery or loose stool), abdominal pain, loss of appetite, bloating, skin rash and itching.
