Polysporin Dexa Eye Ointment 5 gm contains Polymyxin B, Chloramphenicol, and Dexamethasone. Polymyxin B works by damaging the bacterial cell membrane. Chloramphenicol kills the bacteria by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required for survival of the bacteria.
