R-Cin Suspension 200 ml

R-Cin Suspension is used to treat bacterial infections, especially those affecting the lungs and other organs. The detailed uses of R-Cin Suspension are as follows:

• Treatment of tuberculosis (TB): Used as a first-line medicine in combination with other drugs to treat active pulmonary and extrapulmonary tuberculosis.
• Treatment of leprosy: Used with other antimicrobials to treat Hansens disease (leprosy) effectively.
• Treatment of brucellosis: Used in combination with other antibiotics to treat brucellosis, a bacterial infection spread by animals.
• Treatment of legionnaires: Used as an adjunct to treat legionnaires, a severe lung infection.
• Treatment of Haemophilus influenzae: R-Cin Suspension is used to treat Haemophilus influenzae, particularly in close contacts of individuals with invasive H. influenzae type b (Hib) disease.

• Take R-Cin Suspension on an empty stomach, i.e., 30 minutes before or 2 hours after food.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Take the prescribed dose by mouth using the measuring cup provided by the pack.
• Shake well before use. Avoid using regular household spoons, as they may not measure the dose correctly.

R-Cin Suspension is used in combination with other medicines to treat tuberculosis (TB), leprosy, legionnaires ' disease (severe lung infection), brucellosis (a bacterial infection spread from animals to humans), Haemophilus influenzae, and other serious bacterial infections. It contains Rifampicin, an anti-bacterial agent which works by inactivating a bacterial enzyme called RNA polymerase, thereby killing the bacteria that cause the infection. Hence, it helps in effectively treating bacterial infections.

R-Cin Suspension should be avoided if you are allergic to any of its contents. Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, epilepsy, gout, mental health problems, HIV infection, malnutrition, peripheral neuropathy, porphyria, bleeding problems, kidney or liver problems. Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy. Avoid breastfeeding while using R-Cin Suspension as it passes into breast milk. R-Cin Suspension should be given to children only if prescribed by the paediatrician. R-Cin Suspension may cause dizziness, so avoid driving vehicles unless you are alert. Let the doctor know if you are taking any other medicines, including supplements and herbal products.

• Try to take foods rich in vitamin C, such as oranges, kiwis, broccoli, and bell peppers, which help in improving the immune system.
• Avoid consuming processed and fried foods.
• Warm ginger tea or warm soup can help provide relief from a cough.
• Avoid foods and drinks containing histamine or tyramine, such as cured meat, matured cheese, soya, tuna, salmon, mackerel, wine and beer.
• Smoking and alcohol consumption should be avoided as they cause dizziness.
• Drinking pineapple juice might help soothe the symptoms of a cough and a cold. It also has anti-inflammatory and mucolytic properties.
