About Reaqua Capsule

Reaqua Capsule is used to treat knee pain due to osteoarthritis in patients who have failed to respond adequately to simple painkillers or physical therapy and exercise. Osteoarthritis is a joint disease where cartilage breaks down, causing pain and stiffness.

Reaqua Capsule contains Sodium hyaluronate, which works by restoring synovial fluid in the knee that helps to lubricate and cushion the joint during movement. Thus, it reduces pain.

You are advised to use it for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you based on your medical condition. It is generally safe to use and does not cause any side effects. However, if you experience any unusual side effects, inform your doctor.

  • Practising yoga may also help improve joint flexibility and manage pain.
  • Maintain a healthy weight by performing regular low-strain exercises and eating healthy food.
  • Get adequate sleep, as resting the muscles can help in reducing inflammation and swelling.
  • Follow heat or cold therapy, and apply a cold or hot compress on the joints for 15-20 minutes regularly.
  • Acupuncture, massage, and physical therapy may also be helpful.
  • Eat foods rich in antioxidants such as berries, spinach, kidney beans, dark chocolate, etc.
  • Foods containing flavonoids, such as soy, berries, broccoli, grapes, and green tea, help in reducing inflammation.
  • Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
