About Renmax Tablet

Renmax Tablet is used in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy (diabetic kidney disease). Diabetic nephropathy is kidney damage resulting from diabetes. It is a major cause of kidney failure. 

Renmax Tablet contains Taurine and Acetylcysteine, which belong to the antioxidant class. This medication functions by shielding the kidneys from damage caused by dangerous substances (free radicals), hence assisting in the reduction of free radical generation that damages tissue. 

Renmax Tablet may cause certain side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, drowsiness, fever, abdominal pain, and rash. If these side effects persist, consult your doctor immediately. Take Renmax Tablet as prescribed by your doctor.

Do not take Renmax Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Before taking Renmax Tablet , inform your doctor if you have any history of asthma, liver or kidney diseases, or any allergic reactions. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Renmax Tablet .

Directions for Use

Take Renmax Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break the medicine. The dose and duration of medicine will be decided by the doctor based on your doctor.

Renmax Tablet is a combination medicine consisting of taurine and acetylcysteine. Taurine is an antioxidant that helps individuals with diabetic kidney disease keep their blood glucose levels and prevent additional tissue damage. What if I have taken an overdose of Renmax Tablet

Drug Warnings

Do not take Renmax Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Before taking Renmax Tablet , inform your doctor if you have any history of asthma, liver, or kidney diseases, or any allergic reactions. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Renmax Tablet . Renmax Tablet increases the risk of Steven-Johnson syndrome and Lyell syndrome, characterized by severe skin rashes. So, stop taking this medication and consult your doctor immediately if you notice skin rashes. Renmax Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age.

  • Eat at regular intervals. Do not take the long gap between a meal or snack.
  • Lose weight gradually to achieve a healthy body mass index (18.5 to 24.9).
  • Replace refined carbohydrates containing whole-grain foods and increase intake of fruits and other fibre-enriched foods.
  • Monitor your blood sugar level and blood pressure regularly, especially when there are a lot of fluctuations.

Combining the cough syrups with N-Acetylcysteine may result in mucus congestion due to a reduced cough reflex. Hence, do not use these medicines simultaneously.
