ROSCILLIN 125MG ORAL SUSPENSION is an antibiotic medicine used to treat bacterial infections in children. It is used in treating infections of the skin, throat, ear, and lungs caused by bacteria. A bacterial infection occurs when harmful bacteria enter and grow in the body. This bacteria can infect any part of the child's body and multiply very quickly. ROSCILLIN 125MG ORAL SUSPENSION is effective in treating infections caused by bacteria only and does not treat viral infections like flu or a common cold.

ROSCILLIN 125MG ORAL SUSPENSION contains Ampicillin, which belongs to the penicillin class of drugs. It works by inhibiting the formation of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) and causing damage to the bacterial cell wall. This eventually leads to the death of the bacterial cell and thus prevents the growth of bacterial infections. 

ROSCILLIN 125MG ORAL SUSPENSION may cause certain side effects in your child, such as indigestion, diarrhoea, nausea, and stomach pain. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your paediatrician. ROSCILLIN 125MG ORAL SUSPENSION should be given as advised by your doctor. Do not give more than the prescribed dose of ROSCILLIN 125MG ORAL SUSPENSION to the child. Generally, the dose of the medicine will be decided by your paediatrician depending upon the type and severity of the infection.

• Respiratory Tract Infections: ROSCILLIN 125MG ORAL SUSPENSION is used for bacterial infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia. It works by targeting and eliminating the bacteria responsible for symptoms like cough, fever, and chest discomfort.
• Ear, Nose, and Throat Infections: ROSCILLIN 125MG ORAL SUSPENSION helps treat conditions like otitis media (middle ear infection), sinusitis, and tonsillitis by reducing inflammation, pain, and fever caused by susceptible bacteria.
• Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs): ROSCILLIN 125MG ORAL SUSPENSION is effective against certain bacteria that cause UTIs in children, helping relieve symptoms such as painful urination, frequent urges, and abdominal discomfort.
• Gastrointestinal Infections: ROSCILLIN 125MG ORAL SUSPENSION can be used to treat infections like typhoid fever or bacterial diarrhoea caused by Salmonella or Shigella species, helping reduce fever, abdominal pain, and diarrhoea.
• Bacterial Meningitis and Septicemia: ROSCILLIN 125MG ORAL SUSPENSION may be used in hospital settings to treat serious infections like meningitis or bloodstream infections, especially in neonates and young children, under close medical supervision.

• ROSCILLIN 125MG ORAL SUSPENSION should be administered on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before and 2 hours after food, or as advised by the doctor.
• Follow your doctor’s instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safety.
• Administer the prescribed dose to the child using the measuring cup/dosing syringe.
