Rucaza 200 Tablet belongs to the group of anti-cancer medicines called PARP (poly adenosine diphosphate-ribose polymerase) indicated in the treatment of ovarian cancer, fallopian tube, and primary peritoneal cancer. It is also indicated in the treatment of prostate cancer that has spread to other areas in the body in people with a specific gene who have received other treatments.

Rucaza 200 Tablet contains Rucaparib, which works by blocking an enzyme that repairs damaged DNA in cancer cells, resulting in their death. Thereby, it kills cancer cells and helps treat cancer.

In some cases, Rucaza 200 Tablet may cause side effects such as fatigue, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, decreased or loss of appetite. Most of these side effects may not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, if any of the side effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor.

Let the doctor know if you are allergic to any of the components in Rucaza 200 Tablet . Rucaza 200 Tablet is not recommended for use in children as the safety and effectiveness have not been established. Rucaza 200 Tablet used in the treatment of ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer, primary peritoneal cancer and prostate cancer. The detailed uses of Rucaza 200 Tablet are as follows:

• Treatment of Ovarian Cancer: Rucaza 200 Tablet targets and treats ovarian cancer, particularly in patients with BRCA mutations, by inhibiting PARP enzymes and blocking cancer cell growth.
• Managing Fallopian Tube Cancer: Rucaza 200 Tablet provides treatment options for patients with fallopian tube cancer, offering a potential therapeutic benefit in managing the disease.
• Therapy for Primary Peritoneal Cancer: Rucaza 200 Tablet is effective in treating primary peritoneal cancer, helping to control tumor growth and improve patient outcomes.
• Treatment of Prostate Cancer: Rucaza 200 Tablet is used to treat certain cases of prostate cancer, especially those with specific genetic mutations, such as BRCA1 and BRCA2, providing a targeted treatment approach.

• Rucaza 200 Tablet can be taken with or without food.

• Swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water.

Rucaza 200 Tablet contains Rucaparib, which works by blocking an enzyme that repairs damaged DNA in the cancer cells, resulting in their death. Thereby, it kills cancer cells and helps treat cancer. 

Do not take Rucaza 200 Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Rucaza 200 Tablet may cause serious side effects like bone marrow problems called Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) or a type of cancer of the blood called Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Seek immediate medical attention if you experience weakness, weight loss, fever, frequent infections, blood in urine or stools, feeling very tired, shortness of breath, and bleeding or bruising more easily. Consult your doctor immediately if you become pregnant during treatment with Rucaza 200 Tablet . Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medicines, including supplements and herbal products.
