Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adults. The prostate is a small, muscular gland in the male reproductive system. Benign prostatic hyperplasia is a common condition that occurs when the cells of the prostate gland begin to multiply.

Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's is a combination of Silodosin and Dutasteride. This medicine works by blocking the action of alpha-1 receptors, causing smooth muscle relaxation in the bladder and prostate. Dutasteride blocks the action of a 5-alpha reductase enzyme, resulting in a shrinkage of the size of the prostate gland.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as dizziness, headache, nasal congestion (stuffy nose), and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Take Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's as advised. Your physician will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. You can take Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's with or without food. It is advised not to take more than the recommended dose of Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's. Do not chew, crush, or break the medicine. It is crucial to have your lipid profile checked regularly.

Inform your physician if you are allergic to Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's. Avoid consumption of alcohol as it may increase the side effects like dizziness and low blood pressure. • Treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH): Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's helps reduce prostate size by blocking the production of hormones responsible for its growth and also improves urinary flow and reduces symptoms like difficulty urinating, frequent urges, and weak urine stream.
• Relaxation of Bladder and Prostate Muscles: Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's works by relaxing the muscles in the bladder and prostate, making urination easier and helping relieve urinary discomfort associated with an enlarged prostate.
• Prevention of Urinary Blockage: Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's reduces the risk of complete urinary obstruction, which can occur if BPH is left untreated and helps maintain normal urinary function over time.

• Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's can be taken with or without food, as advised by your doctor.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Swallow Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or open it.

• Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's is a combination of Silodosin and Dutasteride used to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adults with an enlarged prostate gland.
• Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's causes smooth muscle relaxation in the bladder and prostate, and also causes a shrinkage of the size of the prostate gland.
• It helps to relieve symptoms such as difficulty urinating or the urge to urinate more often and improve your ability to urinate. 

• Do not take Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's if you are allergic to Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's or any other components present in it. To treat your condition effectively, continue taking Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it. Try not to stop taking it on your own.
• If you take Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's with any antihypertensive medicine, your blood pressure could suddenly drop to a life-threatening level. So, avoid intake of Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's with antihypertensive drugs.
• Inform your doctor if you have/had a heart attack or stroke or heart failure, low blood pressure, kidney or liver disease, have certain eye diseases, loss of vision due to loss of blood flow to the optic (eye) nerve before taking Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's.
• You are advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery after taking Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's as it may cause dizziness.
• Avoid consuming alcohol along with Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's as it could lead to increased dizziness and drowsiness.
• Older patients may be more sensitive to the side effects of Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's, especially dizziness and low blood pressure when getting up from a sitting or lying position. 
• Silodocut D-8 Capsule 10's is intended for male patients only. Therefore, it should not be administered to women and children under 18 years of age.
