Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet is used to treat acid indigestion, heartburn, sour stomach, and stomach upset. It may also be prescribed to make the blood or urine less acidic in certain conditions. About Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet

Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called alkalinising agents used to correct the acid-alkaline balance in the body. Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet is used to treat acid indigestion, heartburn, sour stomach, and stomach upset. Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet may also be prescribed to make the blood or urine less acidic in certain conditions.

Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet contains ‘Sodium bicarbonate’, which helps neutralise the stomach's acidic pH. Thereby, Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet helps to provide relief from acidity.

You are advised to take Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. Sometimes, you may experience common side effects such as dry mouth, urinating more than usual, and increased thirst. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Inform your doctor if you have high blood pressure, kidney, liver or heart disease, if you have recently had bleeding in the stomach or intestine or if you are on a low-salt diet. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or breastfeeding. Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet should not be given to children unless prescribed by the doctor. Avoid consuming alcohol, as it could elevate the production of stomach acid.

Taking Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet with Gefitinib together can reduce the levels and treatment outcomes of Gefitinib.

How to manage the interaction:
Although taking Gefitinib and Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet together can cause an interaction, it can be taken if a doctor has suggested it. Contact your doctor if your symptoms do not improve. Do not stop using any medications without talking to a doctor.

Co-administration of Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet and Dolutegravir reduces the levels of Dolutegravir, resulting in reduced effectiveness.

Although taking Dolutegravir and Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet together can result in an interaction, they can be taken together if prescribed by your doctor. However, if you experience symptoms like fever, chills, diarrhea, sore throat, muscle aches, red or inflamed skin, and pain or burning during urination, contact your doctor immediately. Do not discontinue any medications without consulting your doctor.

Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet is an antacid that helps neutralize stomach acid during indigestion and heartburn. Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet may also be prescribed to make the blood or urine less acidic in certain conditions.

Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet has alkaline pH, which helps in neutralising the acidic pH in the stomach. Thereby, Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet helps to provide relief from acidity and heartburn.

Do not take Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet for longer than two weeks unless prescribed by the doctor. If there is no symptomatic improvement despite using Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet for 1-2 weeks, consult your doctor.

Dry mouth could be a side-effect of Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet . Limiting caffeine intake, avoiding smoking, drinking water regularly and chewing sugar-free gum/candy might stimulate saliva and prevent drying of the mouth.

If you have kidney problems, please consult your doctor before taking Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet as it may possibly affect kidney function.

Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet may cause side effects such as increased thirst, stomach cramps, gas, dry mouth and urinating more than usual. If these side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Store Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet at room temperature. Protect from light. Keep it out of reach of children.

Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet overdose may lead to hyperventilation (over breathing), twitching, very sensitive to light stimuli and high potassium levels in the blood which may cause dizziness or tiredness. Therefore, if you suspect you have taken overdose of Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet , please seek medical help immediately.

Pregnant women are recommended to consult their doctor before using Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet or any antacid, as it may worsen high blood pressure during pregnancy.

Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet should be used for as long as it is advised by your doctor. However, do not use Sodakindle EC 1000 mg Tablet for more than 2 weeks without consulting a doctor. If acid problems persist or worsen after 2 weeks of self-treatment, seek medical help.
