Supernim Gel belongs to the group of medicines called NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs), which are used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, sprains, contusions, and soft tissue rheumatic disorders. 

Supernim Gel contains Nimesulide which works by inhibiting the effect of chemical messengers known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes, thereby blocking the effect of prostaglandins which cause pain and inflammation. Thus, Supernim Gel helps in reducing pain and inflammation. 

In some cases, you may experience side effects such as application site reactions like itching and skin redness. Please consult your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Supernim Gel is not recommended for children below 12 years. Do not apply Supernim Gel on infected, injured, or irritated skin. Avoid contact of Supernim Gel with eyes and mucous membrane; if contact occurs, wash with water immediately.

• Relieve musculoskeletal pain: Supernim Gel is applied topically to reduce pain and inflammation in muscles, joints, and soft tissues caused by sprains, strains, or overuse injuries.
• Treat osteoarthritis-related discomfort: Supernim Gel helps manage localized pain and stiffness in joints affected by osteoarthritis by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis.
• Alleviate acute traumatic tendinitis: Supernim Gel is used to ease pain and swelling in tendon injuries by reducing inflammatory mediators at the site of application.

• Supernim Gel should be applied as suggested by your doctor, usually 2-3 times daily, depending on the severity of pain or inflammation.
• Apply a thin layer to the affected area and gently massage it in until fully absorbed.
• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or broken skin, and do not cover the treated area with tight bandages unless you are instructed by your doctor.
• Do not swallow the cream; it is for external use only.
