Bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. Taxim-O XL Tablet 10's does not work against infections caused by the virus.
Taxim-O XL Tablet 10's contains Cefixime, Dicloxacillin and Lactic acid bacillus. Cefixime and Dicloxacillin work by interfering with the formation of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) necessary for their survival, thereby killing bacteria. Lactic acid bacillus belongs to the class of probiotics (live microorganisms that keeps the body healthy) that help to restore good bacteria in the intestines. Thus, it prevents diarrhoea and loss of beneficial bacteria due to prolonged intake of antibiotics.
Take Taxim-O XL Tablet 10's as prescribed. You are advised to take Taxim-O XL Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it based on your medical condition. Sometimes you may experience vomiting, nausea, dizziness, diarrhoea, stomach pain, indigestion, gas, headache, or vaginal itching.
