About Terikof DX Syrup

Terikof DX Syrup is used to treat coughs associated with a runny nose, sneezing, and throat irritation. Coughing (dry or productive) is the body's way of clearing irritants (like allergens, mucus or smoke) from airways and preventing infection.

Terikof DX Syrup is a combination of two drugs: Chlorphenamine maleate and Dextromethorphan hydrobromide. Chlorphenamine maleate blocks the effects of histamine, reducing allergy symptoms. Dextromethorphan hydrobromide prevents cough by blocking signals from the brain’s cough centre.

In some cases, Terikof DX Syrup may cause certain common side effects such as dry mouth/throat/nose, drowsiness, blurred vision, constipation, dizziness, and restlessness.
