Hyperpigmentation is when areas of skin become darker than the surrounding skin due to excess melanin. This can be caused by sun exposure, skin injuries, hormonal changes, aging, or genetics and can appear as freckles, age spots, or dark patches.

Tranesma Gel contains Tranexamic acid, which works by reducing melanin production and shrinking blood vessels in melasma through altered skin cell interactions and reduced tyrosinase activity, and by blocking the bradykinin pathway to reduce swelling in hereditary angioedema.

If you have rosacea (redness and often red, small, pus-filled bumps on the face), acne, skin thinning, perioral dermatitis (redness and swelling of the skin around the mouth), ulcerated skin, shingles (a viral infection causing a painful rash), eczema (itching and swelling of the skin), or any other skin condition, inform your doctor before using Tranesma Gel.
