How Tresiba 100U/ml Penfil Injection 3 ml Works

The main active component of Tresiba 100U/ml Penfil Injection 3 ml , insulin degludec, works as a long-acting insulin that mimics the natural baseline insulin your pancreas normally releases. Once injected under the skin, it forms a slow-release repository in your fat tissue. From there, the medicine is gradually and continuously absorbed into your bloodstream at a very steady rate. This continuous release ensures there is no sharp peak or sudden drop in your insulin levels for over 24 hours. Once in the bloodstream, Tresiba 100U/ml Penfil Injection 3 ml helps your body’s cells absorb glucose from your blood to use for energy, while also signalling your liver to stop producing excess sugar.

If no insulin comes out when you press the button, change the needle immediately. Always use a new, sterile needle for every injection to prevent blockages, contamination, and pain. Talk to your pharmacist if you continue to have trouble with your injection device.
You can remain active, but physical activity can cause your blood sugar to drop, especially if you exercise the muscle group near your injection site. Monitor your blood sugar levels closely before, during, and after exercise, and talk to your doctor about how to balance your activity with your doses.
Common symptoms of low blood sugar include sweating, pale skin, shakiness, headache, rapid heartbeat, hunger, dizziness, drowsiness, anxiety, confusion, difficulty concentrating, and temporary vision changes. If you experience these symptoms, consume 15–20 g of fast-acting sugar (such as glucose tablets, fruit juice, or regular soda), recheck your blood sugar after 15 minutes, and repeat treatment if needed. Contact your doctor if episodes occur frequently or do not improve.
