It is also used to treat chickenpox. Trikase 200mg Tablet does not cure herpes, but prevents the infection from spreading and treats its symptoms.
Trikase 200mg Tablet contains acyclovir, an antiviral medication. It prevents the multiplication of viruses in human cells by acting on their DNA, resulting in decreased viral overload. Trikase 200mg Tablet kills or stops the growth of fungi and treats the infection.
The dose and duration depend on your condition and how you respond to Trikase 200mg Tablet. You may sometimes experience headaches, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and skin sensitivity to sunlight. Most of these side effects of Trikase 200mg Tablet are temporary, do not require medical attention, and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, contact your doctor.
Do not take Trikase 200mg Tablet if you are allergic to acyclovir or any of its ingredients.
