TROYMIDATE 2MG INJECTION will be administered only in a hospital setting by an experienced anaesthetist. Etomidate could occasionally cause some undesirable effects during the procedure, just like other general anaesthetics. These include pain or discomfort along the vein where the injection was given, being sick, feeling sick, muscle twitching or jerking, difficulty moving your body, cortisol decreased, rash, lowered blood pressure, dizziness and fainting, breathing faster and/or deeper than normal, and noisy breathing. Your anaesthetist will immediately address any issues that emerge during your procedure.
TROYMIDATE 2MG INJECTION is recommended not to use if you are hypersensitive to Etomidate or other similar anaesthetics. If you are pregnant, suspect you are pregnant, or believe you may become pregnant, you must notify your doctor before receiving TROYMIDATE 2MG INJECTION. Breast-feeding should be discontinued during and for 24 hours after treatment with TROYMIDATE 2MG INJECTION. Before taking TROYMIDATE 2MG INJECTION, let your doctor know about all your medical conditions, sensitivities, and medications you are using. Patients should not drive or operate heavy machinery for at least 24 hours after receiving Etomidate.

Alcohol may exacerbate adverse effects like lightheadedness, dizziness, disorientation, and trouble focusing. Additionally, some people may have problems with their judgment, thinking, and motor coordination. Alcohol consumption should be minimized or avoided while taking etomidate.

Inform your doctor before receiving TROYMIDATE 2MG INJECTION if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy. There is no data supporting the use of TROYMIDATE 2MG INJECTION in pregnancy and at the time of delivery.

TROYMIDATE 2MG INJECTION may decrease blood pressure, slow down breathing rates, suppress adrenal function especially when used in high doses or combination with other sedatives or anaesthetics.
