About Tycomus 0.1% Cream

Tycomus 0.1% Cream is used to treat moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (eczema). Atopic dermatitis, also known as eczema, is a common skin condition associated with inflamed and itchy skin patches. The symptoms include itchy, dry, flaky, swollen, rough and irritated skin.

Tycomus 0.1% Cream contains 'Tacrolimus' that works by suppressing the over-reaction of immune cells in the skin to a stimulus. Thus, it reduces allergic reactions and inflammation (redness and swelling). 

Use Tycomus 0.1% Cream as prescribed. You are advised to use Tycomus 0.1% Cream for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you based on your medical condition. Some people may experience itching, burning sensation, redness, pain or skin tingling. Most of these side effects of Tycomus 0.1% Cream do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Please tell your doctor if you are allergic to Tacrolimus or other medicines. If you are pregnant or a breastfeeding mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Tycomus 0.1% Cream. The detailed uses of Tycomus 0.1% Cream are as follows:<br/>• Atopic Dermatitis Treatment: Tycomus 0.1% Cream is often used to manage symptoms of atopic dermatitis, providing relief for itching and inflammation associated with this skin condition.<br/>• Reducing Skin Inflammation: Tycomus 0.1% Cream can also be used to reduce overall skin inflammation, whether due to allergic reactions or other inflammatory conditions.<br/>• Psoriasis Management: Tycomus 0.1% Cream can be effective in treating psoriasis by reducing the scaling and redness of the skin.<br/>• Eczema Relief: Tycomus 0.1% Cream may be used to alleviate the symptoms of eczema, helping to soothe irritated skin and restore moisture.<br/>• Post-Transplant Skin Care: Tycomus 0.1% Cream is sometimes prescribed for patients who have undergone organ transplants to prevent skin-related complications.<br/>

Directions for Use

• Tycomus 0.1% Cream is for external use only.• It is usually applied twice daily or as directed by your doctor.• Check the label for directions before using this medicine.• Clean and dry the affected area of the skin. Take a small amount of Tycomus 0.1% Cream on the fingertip and apply it as a thin layer on the affected area.• Wash your hands before and after using Tycomus 0.1% Cream unless the treatment is for hands.• If Tycomus 0.1% Cream accidentally comes into contact with the nose, mouth, eyes, or vagina, rinse with water thoroughly.

Medicinal Benefits

Tycomus 0.1% Cream contains Tacrolimus, an immunosuppressant used to treat moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (eczema) in adults who are not adequately responsive or are intolerant to topical corticosteroids and in children (above 2 years) who failed to respond adequately to topical corticosteroids.  Tycomus 0.1% Cream suppresses the overreaction of immune cells in the skin to a stimulus. If Tycomus 0.1% Cream accidentally comes in contact with these areas, rinse with water thoroughly. Do not swallow Tycomus 0.1% Cream. In case of accidental swallowing, consult a doctor immediately.
