About Ulzero-HP Kit 6's

Ulzero-HP Kit 6's is used in the treatment of peptic ulcer disease caused by infection with a common type of bacteria called Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori). Peptic ulcers are sores (small, shallow wounds) that develop on the intestine and stomach's inner lining.

Ulzero-HP Kit 6's is a combination of three drugs, namely: Pantoprazole, amoxycillin, and clarithromycin. Amoxycillin works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering (protective cell wall) necessary for their survival, thereby preventing the growth of bacteria. Clarithromycin stops bacterial growth but does not necessarily kill them. Pantoprazole reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Altogether, Ulzero-HP Kit 6's helps treat peptic ulcer disease.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, stomach pain, taste change, and headache. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not take Ulzero-HP Kit 6's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed by the doctor. Ulzero-HP Kit 6's causes drowsiness, so drive only if you are alert. Ulzero-HP Kit 6's should not be given to children as safety has not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Ulzero-HP Kit 6's as it could lead to increased drowsiness and can elevate the production of stomach acid.

Uses of Ulzero-HP Kit 6's

Ulzero-HP Kit 6's is used in the treatment of Peptic ulcer disease. The detailed uses of Ulzero-HP Kit 6's are as follows:

  • Treat peptic ulcers caused by H. pylori infection: Ulzero-HP Kit 6's is primarily used to eradicate Helicobacter pylori, a bacterium responsible for stomach and intestinal ulcers. Amoxycillin and Clarithromycin are antibiotics that kill or inhibit bacterial growth, while Pantoprazole reduces stomach acid to promote healing.
  • Manage acid-related gastrointestinal disorders: Ulzero-HP Kit 6's helps relieve symptoms of acid reflux, heartburn, and gastritis by lowering gastric acid production. This creates a less acidic environment, allowing ulcers and inflamed tissues to recover.
  • Prevent recurrence of ulcers and complications: Ulzero-HP Kit 6's is also used to prevent the return of ulcers and reduce the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation. Its combination action approach ensures both bacterial eradication and mucosal protection.

  • Reduces symptoms such as heartburn, acidity, stomach pain, bloating, and indigestion.
  • Offers a triple therapy approach for complete eradication of the infection.
  • Improves digestive comfort and promotes long-term gastrointestinal health.

How Ulzero-HP Kit 6's Works

Ulzero-HP Kit 6's is a combination of three drugs, namely: Pantoprazole, amoxycillin, and clarithromycin. Amoxycillin is bactericidal (kills bacteria) and works by preventing the formation of the bacterial cell wall (protective cell wall) necessary for their survival, thereby preventing bacterial growth. Clarithromycin is a bacteriostatic antibiotic; i.e., it stops bacterial growth but does not necessarily kill them. It works by inhibiting the protein synthesis required for bacterial cell growth. As a result, bacterial cells cannot reproduce or grow. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that works by blocking the action of an enzyme called the gastric proton pump, which is responsible for the production of acid in the stomach. Thereby reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Altogether, Ulzero-HP Kit 6's helps treat peptic ulcer disease.
